The University of Notre Dame University Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for the position of Houseperson within the department of the Morris Inn . The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. Why this position? The Houseperson provides housekeeping support by stripping beds, sorting/stocking linen and guest room supplies, washing glassware for guest rooms, responding to guest requests, and completing other duties as assigned while meeting, or exceeding, Morris Inn Signature Service Standards and expectations. In addition, this position is responsible for cleaning common areas outside of guest rooms and performing other duties such as, displaying a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when greeting and providing assistance to guests of the hotel and Conference Center. Work is performed in a normal hotel/restaurant environment with occasional stressful periods, and includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event periods.
