NOV Fiber Glass Systems in Waycross, GA is hiring! We Power the Industry that Powers the World. NOV - Fiberglass Systems provides composite piping systems, fittings, and structures to the oil and gas, chemical, marine, offshore, fuel handling, and mining industries.
These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.
This entry-level position is located in Waycross, GA, and ensures the safe and quality manufacturing of our fiberglass parts in an efficient manner before shipment to our customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates fiberglass chop gun
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Travel less than 10%
- Three years of verifiable work history preferred
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
