** Remote Role (up to 60% travel) **

SUMMARY

Quality System Engineers/Managers work with mill operations, technical, and quality individuals to implement quality measures while leading corrective action and continuous improvement activities in collaboration with the Mill Division's quality vision and strategy. Overall, there is a responsibility for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. Additional responsibilities include training other employees on quality control matters, designing quality standards, quality processes, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Analysis related to Run-To-Target (RTT) Process
• Division audit support at mills as necessary
• Division project management and support
• Mill corrective action support and implementation assistance
• ISO Lead Internal Auditor training and knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science
• Travel required to mill operational locations (around 60%)-covering 5 paper mills located in MI, PA, VT, TX, WI
• Paperboard experience strongly preferred
• Exposure to quality management, quality management systems, leadership and management, customer relations, communication skills, and supplier management.
• The ability to obtain process information and quality information to develop statistical analysis performance and assist development of corrective action plans is a key function of support.
