Responsibilities

About the Role:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing daily QA/QC responsibilities overseeing telecom drop crews to ensure the delivery and execution of all project activities meet the required standards. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and tackling challenges head-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with local teams, Project Managers, and Resource Management to deliver equipment and materials needed by crews.
  • Perform specialized inspections and testing techniques.
  • Provide quality training, statistical analysis, audits, and tools for problem-solving.
  • QC drop crews and create inspection reports to ensure work areas meet requirements.
  • Recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution.
  • Implement performance evaluation methods to enhance safety, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Generate reports documenting inspection findings and notify operations/QC management of significant issues.
  • Assist with documentation to confirm satisfactory completion of inspections or test activities.
  • Support administrative tasks (30-40% of the role), such as tracking, reporting, and assisting Project Managers with INR.
  • Run materials, pick up handholes, and check PPE compliance.
Qualifications

About You:

  • You work well with others and enjoy long-term projects.
  • You have 2+ years of verifiable experience in telecommunications and/or construction.
  • You understand drawings, permits, and specifications relevant to Fiber, or Cable industries.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
