Technical Support - Pump Room - Military Veterans

In the Maintenance Technical Support position, you perform, monitor & evaluate preventative maintenance plans, while continually work towards improving equipment & processes. You Will

• Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
• Initiate action for food safety issues
• Observe mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots to locate causes of trouble, specifically compressors and refrigeration.
• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repair or replace defective parts. Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
• Lubricate and cleans parts.
• Start devices to test their performance.
• Perform work in a safe manner, and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules.
• Maintain high standards relating to area housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leaders, Production Technicians, and other plant personnel.
• Have the authority to place product on hold.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer & Airveyor is preferred.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
• Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
• ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation

You'll Earn

• $20-25 per hour, based on qualifications, education, and experience
• Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.00 per hour
