Senior Cyber Security Specialist - SECRET - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join a stable, long-term federal contract based in Quantico, VA. This position requires an active Secret Clearance and will be fully onsite.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cyber Security Specialist:

• Support Systems Command, focusing on end-point security using HBSS, Tanium, and McAfee’s End Point Security tool suite.
• Provide Risk Assessment, RMF Accreditation, Vulnerability Management, and Security Analysis support for various MCEN systems and network devices.
• Use McAfee Endpoint Security and the HBSS Suite (ePO and HIPS) to protect USMC endpoints.
• Work with Tanium and McAfee tools for endpoint security protection.
• Support HBSS Administration for their HBSS Instance.
• Create/adjust ACAS repositories and interpret/troubleshoot ACAS scan results.
• Operate and manage all aspects of Information Systems (IS), ensuring data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.

Qualifications of the Senior Cyber Security Specialist:

• 10+ years of IT experience (including school, military, side jobs, etc.).
• Experience using, administering, and maintaining HBSS, EndPoint Security, Tanium, and ACAS (with a focus on McAfee EndPoint Security and Tanium).
• IAT Level III Certificate (e.g., CCNP Security, CASP CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH).
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree

Compensation for the Senior Cyber Security Specialist:

• Salary: $90,000-105,000/year (flexible based on experience).
