Hospital Assistant II - Military Veterans

at HERC- Upper MidWest

Under the direct supervision of the Orthopaedic Institute Practice Supervisor and Manager, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the clinical staff and the physician leadership, the Hospital Assistant II assists in the delivery of care to patients in an ambulatory multi-specialty group practice. Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes. S/he will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the primary and specialty care services provided to patients within the practice. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center. Exemplary customer service is essential.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The hourly range for this position is $29.63 - $36.99.
