Position Summary and Responsibilities The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Office of Admission, particularly as related to application processing and data entry as well as customer service and fielding phone inquiries from prospective students, applicants, parents, administrators, and alumni. This is an on-campus, full-time, 42 week per year position. Responsibilities: Respond to email, calls and correspondence; greet and assist visitors, order office supplies; and make room reservations as needed. Data entry and routine audits to maintain accurate records and import application materials from third-party sources into the Admission Offices CRM and other platforms. Prepare letters, reports, and other documents using Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools. Enter event registration information into the Admission Offices CRM. Maintain documentation of admission processes. Perform additional administrative assistant tasks to support the needs of the department. Qualifications Required One to two years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office suites and ability to learn additional technical systems. Requires the ability to interact effectively with a diverse community of faculty, students, staff, and visitors. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to diversity and building an inclusive community Overtime work on one to two Saturday mornings in the fall and in the spring when the office is open is expected.
