We are looking for a passionate, innovative Salesforce Configuration Engineer to help us take our industry-leading solutions to the next level. Sparta Systems is the leader in Enterprise Quality Management, and we are growing.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Salesforce Configuration Engineer, you will work closely with the architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible and identify areas to reduce implementation efforts and scalability risk.



• As a Salesforce Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring solutions according to Salesforce best practices.



• You will assist in test plan development and execution and support organizational change management efforts

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5 years of extensive experience in Salesforce configuration and creation of robust flows and automation.



• 5 years of experience in excellent SF declarative coding skills



• 3 years of expert experience with Flows, Process Builder and best practices



• 1 year experience in understanding tradeoffs between declarative programming and custom APEX



• 3 years of excellent APEX coding skills



• 5 years of experience in using source control system like Git, Github and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.



• 3 years of experience with configuration and data migration tools when going between Salesforce orgs (i.e. SFDX, ANT, Force.com IDE, Change Sets, etc.)



• 1 year of experience in SF Metadata API



• 1 year of experience in Salesforce governor limits and best practices to avoid scalability issues for enterprise as well as small to medium business usage.



• Salesforce certifications in the area of Configuration/Administration

WE VALUE

• Scrum/Agile Product Development exposure.



• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate development methodologies and trade-offs.



• Prior experience with any programming language like JAVA, C# or Javacript



• Remain current on SF best practices, tooling and upcoming features.



• Ability to understand general business requirements and configure out of box solutions declaratively. Clear understanding of complex managed package structures; includes dependencies and extension packages.



• Ability to work independently



• Positive Attitude



• Experience working as an ISV
