Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Inspector to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.

• Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.

• Creates and submits written inspection reports.

• Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.

• Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.

• Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.

• Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.

• Creates and maintains SH&E training records.

• Participates in routine safety work briefings.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Diploma or Bachelors in related field (or equivalent experience).

• Related work experience in the field of Health and Safety is preferred.  

• Requires a familiarity with Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures, SHARP Management, Parsons Construction Safety & Health Manual as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
