We work with intention toward a common purpose and forge ways forward together.Make it better.We create fulfilling purpose-driven careers by learning from the world and each other.POSITION TITLEPolicy and Compliance CoordinatorIS SecurityPOSITION LOCATIONRichmond, VALynchburg, VARemote US (Eastern or Central Time)This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond or Lynchburg, Virginia in-office applicants or remote applicants residing in states/locations under Eastern or Central Standard Time: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Vermont, West Virginia or Wisconsin.What you will be doingCoordinate and manage ServiceNow Policy and Compliance moduleCollaborate with other departments on policy and compliance initiativesAutomate best practices of policy and compliance lifecyclesReduce manual effort with automated control testingSimplify compliance with test once, satisfy many methodologyImplement continuous monitoring to identify violations and improve responseCreate and maintain policy and compliance metrics communicating with reports and dashboards to stakeholdersManage short turnarounds and tight deadlines and ensure timely completionMaintain high level quality of work and quality outputCreate and maintain standard operating procedures and other required documentationIdentify and implement improvement opportunitiesCoordinate information and evidence across the organizationWork independently and collaborate closely with team members, application owners, contractors and business partnersWork in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtuallyMaintain working knowledge of security policies and standardsWhat you bringBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree preferred (In lieu of degree, 3+ years of demonstrated IT or cybersecurity experience)Understanding of cybersecurity risks, controls, and industry standard cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.)Capacity to work in a team environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding of project management and Software Development LifecyclePositive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditional Qualifications:Experience working with Risk, Compliance and Audit teamsExperience with principles of GRCExperience with security governance tools GRC, IRM, UCFProject management experienceFamiliarity with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, NY DFS, NIST 800-53, ServiceNow, SOC1, SOC2Commitment to continuous improvement and innovative approachesEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in peoples lives every day. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 7% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
