Director of Strategic Campaigns & Initiatives University of Notre Dame The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a Director of Strategic Campaigns & Initiatives . The Director of Strategic Campaigns & Initiatives leads a team in designing, planning, and executing Notre Dame's campaigns and initiatives to maximize donor count and unrestricted revenue from alumni, parents, and friends. Through a variety of large-scale campaigns, program oversight, and outreach to targeted audiences, the Director is responsible for initiatives that result in $15M+ annually for the university. Additionally, the team owns and reports on the department's goal of 127,000 donors annually. In this role, you will join a gritty, fun, and collaborative team who embrace thinking differently. You will fight every day to advance the mission of Notre Dame through raising critical funds that empower Notre Dame students to be forces for good in the world. Responsibilities Include: Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of a team of 4. Work with the Senior Director of Annual Giving and Annual Giving Leadership Team to establish strategies, action plans, and goals to achieve a 127,000 donor target and multiple unrestricted revenue objectives. Act as the lead executor of key fundraising campaigns including Notre Dame Day and Calendar Year-End. This includes creating briefs, making decisions on audiences and segmentation, pulling data, writing, editing, reviewing creative work, and other campaign-related tasks. Act as a player/coach for campaigns that fall within the scope of the Strategic Campaigns & Initiatives team across multiple channels such as direct mail, text, social, and email. Collaborate with campus partners on initiatives that drive giving, including overseeing various crowdfunding campaigns for campus groups. Guide the team in developing segmentation and storytelling strategies to engage audiences and deepen their connection with Notre Dame. Plan and oversee special events to maximize donor giving and engagement. Manage a $800k campaign and program budget, working with external vendors and contractors. Active participation in donor engagement and solicitation events directly interacting with donors and prospective donors. Events to include, but not limited to: Alumni Association activities, Football Weekends for Giving Societies, ND Listens key events, Young Alumni & Student Philanthropy activities, Friday Night Bash, etc. The Director will, at times, serve as the key leadership representative from Development or Annual Giving in particular at these types of events.
