The skills needed are within 3D modeling, model creation and deformation with Solidworks specifically. We are also looking for individuals who have experience with Aluminum Extrusion, specifically model assembly creation, assembly quoting and labor estimation. responsibilities:
- Partner with customers and the sales team to develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare and approve customer quotes and sales orders using ERP and engineering tools.
- Utilize 3D SolidWorks to design safety guard frames, pneumatic and electro-mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and other mechanical components.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth execution of purchasing and planning processes.
- Generate shop floor documentation and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform stress and load capacity calculations for designs.
- Research, design, and develop tools, machines, controls, equipment, and mechanical processes.
- Manage production, installation, operation, maintenance, and updates of systems.
- Collaborate with production staff to address design revisions and implement changes.
- Support customer needs, including on-site visits and troubleshooting for FIA.
- Work closely with other engineering teams to maximize equipment efficiency and utilization.
