Electrical Technician - Military Veterans

The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for an immediate opening at its Madison Heights VA facility. This full-time, day shift position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, including low voltage wiring. You will play a key role in assembling parts sorting and rotary assembly systems, working closely with engineering and supervisory teams to ensure quality and timely production. The work environment is indoors, Monday to Friday 7am-3pm with overtime available.

Responsibilities include assembling mechanical and electrical components, reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control panel layouts, and assisting in the cleaning and preparation of equipment for shipment.

The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of executing projects with minimal supervision while maintaining a safe and organized work area. A focus on safety and quality is crucial as you will be expected to follow standards such as UL508A, NFPA79, and NEC.

Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in electrical panel assembly, AC/DC concepts, and wiring practices. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted, and navigate equipment with ease.

Base salary, $65K - $70K, with a 6 month performance review.
