Quality Analyst Stf (Level 4) - Military Veterans

Description:This position will work in Quality Control supporting a classified Program in Skunk Works in Marietta, GA.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by coordinating the quality survey process, which serves as a recall system to capture nonconforming materials or components that have escaped detection in the supply chain or internal build processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate actions to locate, inspect, and document materials, components, and aircraft suspected or known to have nonconformances, across all stages of the production cycle.
Define the scope of nonconformances or escapes and collaborate with key stakeholders (Chief Engineering Office, Material Review Board, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, etc.) to determine necessary actions.
Create and release survey documents or minor variances (if applicable) and notify the sustainment team when escapes have migrated to the field.
Lead the quality team's product compliance surveillance by developing and executing audit plans, analyzing performance, and adjusting plans as needed.
Compile and brief audit results to senior operations leadership on a weekly basis.
Ensure QA policies, procedures, and practices are followed and executed correctly.
Develop and coordinate defect containment actions.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to identify the root cause of defects and develop robust corrective actions.
Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to inspectors and/or quality control workforce on quality control methods, techniques, and tools.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Analyze quality data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop corrective actions to address quality issues.
Collaborate with production leadership to ensure that quality requirements are integrated into production planning and execution.
Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement, including process improvements and training programs.
Represent the quality control function in cross-functional teams and meetings, and provide input on quality-related issues.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or training to include team/relationship building, facilitator, change management, and interpersonal skills
• Technical experience or training on complex military programs and products
• Experience with the application of industry quality system standards
• Verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
• Quality Assurance Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of QSS, AutoTime, SFM, QADS
• Prior leadership experience
• CATIA V5 experience or similar
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
