The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $101,404 to $126,755
JOB SUMMARY:
Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:
This position will be responsible for managing various programs and projects of improvements and new systems developments, while providing relationshipmanagement on behalf of Process and Technologies both locally and globally.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership on various programs and projects mainly related to business process automation based on IT solutions (desktop and mobile). Management includes development of scope, project design execution and close out.
- Acts as a liaison between the business and IT to identify and prioritize business requirements related to process automation initiatives which drive efficiencies for the Networks business.
- Leads cross-functional project teams, including global projects. Holds regular program/project status meetings.
- Monitor, generate and report metrics to measure the projects' benefits.
- Acts as the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides direction and leads decision making. Holds project team members accountable for results.
- Provides linkage to management for decision making outside of day-to-day program/project team activities.
- Provides relationship management for the business area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or an associate degree with 5 years of project management relevant experience required.
- Proven minimum of 2-year experience on program/product/project management experience.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies, including Agile or Waterfall.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office tools (Project, Excel, Power Point and Vizio).
- Proficiency in cost control and budget forecasting.
Other preferred skills and qualifications:
- General knowledge and experience of Electric Operation/Utilities sector.
- Knowledge of Change Management Methodology.
- Project Management Certificate
- Knowledge of 6 sigma Methodology.
- Knowledge of SCRUM Methodology.
- Spanish intermediate
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and an ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
