POSITION SUMMARY
Supports and informs the secure lifecycle management of Le Moynes information and technology infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, enterprise storage, server operating systems, virtual desktop infrastructure, identity and access management services, and assigned applications and network services including cloud infrastructure and applications. Actively advances and promotes Le Moynes mission, Catholic and Jesuit identity, and commitment to both social justice and care for the whole person.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
Actively supports the daily operation of Le Moynes technology infrastructure, including monitoring systems and services, responding to and resolving incidents, recognizing trends and identifying appropriate response.
Provides Level 2 & 3 support of IT services and 24x7 response and resolution of incident, service, change, and problem requests; tracks, updates, and resolves assigned requests; escalates issues as appropriate; provides professional, timely, accurate, and consistent service.
Installs, configures, maintains and supports server, desktop and application infrastructure, network services, data base servers, utilities, and other assigned software and systems.
Promotes the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information services and the application of associated policies and practices.
Collaborates effectively and professionally with members of the IT Department, Le Moyne community and affiliated organizations.
Actively participates in efforts to enhance IT service management, including process flow and overall satisfaction with IT services and service delivery using metrics, training and support.
Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement though analysis of trends, reflection and evaluation of operational activities, technical functionality, and policies and procedures; recommends and effects positive change.
Assists and advises IT managers in the planning, design and implementation of new systems and services.
Maintains and develops documentation, run books, procedure guides and training materials associated with Le Moyne's technology services.
Manages assigned projects including planning, estimation of time and cost, tracking of deliverables, tasks, and effort, team coordination and task assignment, risk and change management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, preferably in information systems (MIS), computer science, engineering or related field.
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience implementing and supporting information technology in a service centric environment.
Experience in the acquisition, installation, integration, use, and management of computer equipment and technology facilities.
Flexibility and adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills; appropriately adjusts communication to people of different ages, ethnicities and technical abilities; effectively facilitate discussions and meetings.
Strong and demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills; organized; detail oriented; comprehends, learns, and masters new technologies readily; exercise sound judgment in complex situations.
Effectively and gracefully manage resources, tasks, multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, service oriented environment as a contributor and project leader.
Familiarity with IT service management, a service oriented culture, and with the identifying characteristics of an institution of higher education (prior higher education experience is desirable).
