DCS Field Service Engineer II - Huntsville, AL - Military Veterans

As a Field Service Engineer, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300).

Key Responsibilities





  • Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues.


  • Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues/inquiries.


  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware, networks, and software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS.


  • Upgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customers industrial process.


  • Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywells new technology offering.


  • Understand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing


  • Be the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors.


  • Learn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.


  • Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience.


  • Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.


  • Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers.

YOU MUST HAVE





  • High School Diploma or GED


  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility


  • Experience with DCS and Process Control(s)
