Job Summary:
The Designer - Convention Center will be a highly skilled and creative professional responsible for contributing to the design and development of a world-class convention center within the NEOM The Line project. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, a passion for innovative design, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of design concepts and schemes for the convention center, considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Prepare and present design proposals, sketches, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and detail design drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
Conduct research and analysis on relevant industry trends, best practices, and innovative design solutions.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure the integrated design and delivery of the project.
Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and equipment.
Ensure the design complies with all relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Contribute to the development of design documentation and specifications.
Participate in design reviews and construction meetings.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in architectural design and technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a focus on large-scale commercial or institutional projects (experience with convention centers is a strong plus).
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Passion for innovative design and a strong commitment to quality.
