Job Description Pharmacokinetics Technician | Infusin Nursing | MSK Nassau Exciting Opportunity at MSK: MSK is looking for a Pharmacokinetics Technician to join our Chemotherapy Infusion team. Under Registered Nurse supervision and in collaboration with the clinical team, the Pharmacokinetics Technician (PK Tech) conducts Phase I PK studies. The PK Tech also performs and facilitates the collection of PK samples including set-up, processing, shipping, PK data management, and monitoring of quality assurance. Role Overview: Obtain and process PK samples according to protocol, regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures. Oversee clinical and research support activities to ensure patient safety, address clinical needs, and ensure protocol integrity and accurate data collection Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) as per protocol requirements and record physical measurements including vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment and orient patient and families to the clinical area. Key Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent education. Phlebotomy certification (required) At least one year of technical education (LPN program, medical technician or nursing assistant program). Recent experience with Phlebotomy, EKG, and taking vital signs. Core Skills: Emotionally intelligent and enjoy working with a diverse patient population.
