Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders through invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. You will operate specialized x-ray and physiological equipment, assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment while accurately recording test results.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
Operate and adjust special procedure equipment, including C-Arms, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring systems.
Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout procedures.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and proper sterile and aseptic techniques.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and simple repairs on cardiovascular equipment.
Maintain organized and fully stocked work areas, disinfect equipment after each use, and complete necessary documentation for procedures and charges.
Support the team with general office duties and other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience (Preferred).
Minimum of one year of catheterization experience (Preferred).

Licenses/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) (Required).
Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (Required in CA and HI).
Current Fluoroscopy license (Required in CA within 6 months of hire).
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).

Key Skills:
Strong understanding of cardiovascular diagnostic procedures and equipment.
Proficiency in radiation safety and infection control practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
