ON CALL SECURITY OFFICER - Military Veterans

Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Be at least 21 years of age

Must have prior military and or Law enforcement

Work in compliance with the interests of the client within the limits of the facility, it's employees and visitors
Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts
Complete patrols as required by post orders
Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders
Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders
Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook
Long hours standing up
Willingness to work extended hours
There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post
He or she will be required to follow any other instruction or post orders as requested by direct supervisor or approved client contact in order to maintain positive client relationship.

• Ability to maintain a controlled resolve during intense situations, while keeping a safe environment for other officers, clients, vendors and employees within the facility.
• Ability to deal tactfully with the public
AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CONFLICT RESOLUTION (Experience must reflect a job where you directly handled conflict in a could be intense situation.)
