Compensation: $75k-$101k DOE

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations, client service, product sales, and security of a full-service bank branch. This role ensures compliance with bank policies, state, and federal regulations while fostering a customer-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage branch staff to ensure high customer service standards.

- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with staff to set goals and provide coaching.

- Promote core deposit growth and monitor branch performance metrics.

- Communicate policy updates and ensure staff training.

- Conduct annual performance reviews and address non-performance issues.

Operations:

Ensure compliance with operational procedures and state/federal regulations.

Approve large transactions, review reports, and manage branch budgets.

Ensure successful audit results and proper security procedures.

Customer Service:

- Model and foster superior customer service.

- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively.

- Assist with complex account servicing needs.

Sales Leadership:

- Develop and execute sales and community engagement strategies.

- Coach staff to profile customers, deepen relationships, and generate referrals.

- Partner with management on marketing plans and cross-selling efforts.

Community Relations:

- Participate in community events and promote the bank’s CRA initiatives.

- Complete a minimum of 10 CRA volunteer hours annually (compensated).

Qualifications:

- Proven sales ability with documented branch growth.

- 7+ years in a branch environment, 5+ years in branch management.

- Experience managing complex business and consumer accounts.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking programs.

- Active involvement in local business organizations preferred.

- California driver’s license and insured vehicle required.

- Notary Public certification preferred.

- Primarily local travel; occasional overnight travel required.
