A world-leader in mechanical products manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its team in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
As Quality Engineer, you will support the development of innovative medical components from concept through design, manufacturing and testing by creating a Master Validation Plan. You will maintain records using a QMS and ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 are met. The Quality Engineer will lead quality and validation studies, corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) plans, implement QC plans, and perform inspections. You should understand how to root cause issues and ensure continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.
Candidates should have a degree in engineering or a related field and at least 3 years experience in a manufacturing quality lead role. Medical device experience preferred. Knowledge of ISO standards and root cause is a must. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
