Tube Applications Specialist - Military Veterans

job summary:
In this role you will develop and optimize customer parts and programs, install and set up machine tooling, provide technical support and training, conduct testing and commissioning, collaborate with sales teams, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain customer relationships with up to 50% travel as required.
Pay Range: 30/hr - 45/hr ($40+ range would need extensive experience and experience with either our competitors; trumpf, amada, mazak or bystronic)
Needs to live 1 hours from Novi, MI site to commute to office
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Tube Bending, Wire Bending, and/or End Forming processes
- CAD/ CAM programming experience
- GD&T
- High school diploma or equivalent
- mechanical and electrical aptitude, with hands on experince with systems
- understanding of bending tool designs

responsibilities:
- Develop and validate customer parts, including creating and optimizing part programs.
- Analyze customer drawings to determine feasibility using products.
- Install, set up, and program machine tooling for customer applications.
- Install/remove machine components as required per sales orders.
- Provide support during and after the sales process.
- Conduct training on Tube & Wire Forming Products.
- Perform customer visits for applications support and requests.
- Conduct customer run-off acceptance tests and document results.
- Solve minor technical issues during commissioning, tooling validation, acceptance, or installation.
- Work with Pre-Sales Applications and Sales teams to suggest features, accessories, or software for customer applications.
- Travel up to 50% as required.
