An Electrical Technician is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Spencer, IN area. An Electrical Engineering Technician assists in designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective operation.

responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and refining electrical circuits and systems, working from schematics and diagrams.
- Build and assemble electrical systems or prototypes using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate specialized or standard test equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems.
- Identify and resolve issues in electrical circuits and systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Record test results, maintain lab notebooks, and prepare reports detailing procedures and outcomes.
- Inspect electrical project work for quality control and assurance.
Skills:
- Solid understanding of electrical and electronic principles, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Precision in assembling and testing components to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Effective verbal and written skills for documenting processes and collaborating with team members.
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to achieve project goals.
Education and Experience:
- AA Degree preferred -or equivalent work experience in related discipline and
- 2 - 3 years of related experience.
