This position is open to KU Employees only in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Liberal Arts and Sciences (LA&S) offers a Bachelor of General Studies and a number of graduate and professional degree programs. It serves over 200 students in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) at KU. This position serves as the director of the LA&S degree programs and a faculty appointment (i.e. tenure-track or tenured professor, teaching professor, or multi-term/Senior/University lecturer) in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The position oversees the curricular planning and development in the LA&S degree programs and fills a critical link between the College Dean's Office and the students that the LA&S degree programs serve. This position is an academic year (9-month) appointment for an initial period of three (3) years beginning July 1, 2025.
