Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer focus to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Integrator Engineer with a strong background in DevOps to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that integrate seamlessly with our Government Customer's infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of scalable and reliable DevOps solutions.
• Responsible for several cloud computing roles focusing on engineering, architecture, development, and administration.
• Assesses a project's technology infrastructure and explores options for moving to the cloud.
• Oversees the migration and maintains the new system.
• Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms.
• Assists in the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Incorporates security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications.
• Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the project.
• Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
• Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.
• Integrates component subsystems into a cohesive whole and ensures they function together.
• Designs and implements cloud-based integration solutions that meet Government requirements.
• Plans, coordinates, schedules, tests, improves, and maintains IT systems.
• Collaborates with software developers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and systems.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex integration issues in a timely manner.
• Stays up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve integration processes.
• Mentors and provides guidance to junior engineers on the team.
• Analyzes existing systems and infrastructure to identify upgrade needs and integration opportunities.
• Communicates with Government to determine optimal subsystem pricing/sourcing.
• Reports to leadership and stakeholders on infrastructure capabilities.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in system integration, with a focus on DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop & use exceptionally complex concepts & processes that span multiple organizations and disciplines.
• Performs highly specialized, technical tasks associated with current and cutting-edge technologies.
• Recognized Industry Leader in their area of Expertise.
• Performs multiple tasks at specialist level.
• Leads multiple Junior/Mid-level personnel.
• Evaluates & recommends new technology & processes based upon cost, risk, mission.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly (or obtainable CI Poly)
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field, or Senior level work experience in the related labor category.
Minimum Years of Experience: 8-12
Required Certifications:
• Applicable software/hardware /management training & certifications.
