Stryker is hiring a Senior Program Manager, Government Affairs and Market Access.

What you will do

The Project Manager for the Global Government Affairs, Health Economics, Market Access (GAMA) organization is a key role designed to drive project and portfolio excellence across GAMA’s strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will lead multiple GAMA projects simultaneously, applying their expertise in project management to create new and streamline existing processes, ensure timely deliverables, and enhance overall project quality.

  • Develop a risk management plan for the program(s), optimizing, and managing inter-program timelines. Analyze and address critical path, major workstreams, intersecting milestones.
  • Create program budgets with cross-functional managers and directors. Optimize, monitor, and maintain costs within budget. Drive project cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborate on the development of the project governance and stakeholder management plan for the project, by identifying, analyzing, and understanding of stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify, analyze, and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan. Mentor others in risk management practices.
  • Manage vendors to deliver discrete project outcomes. Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage contracts effectively.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships and strategies for the effective management across broad range of expectations and requirements, Create and influence best practices for divisional communications management.
  • Additional role-specific technical areas of responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary by the local hiring manager.
  • Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s).
  • Drives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate
  • Adept at team management selects the right people to the right tasks all while maintain team morale and recognizing contributions.
  • Can influence without direct authority in a way that makes others want to be on their team.
  • Incorporates end-user feedback to refine scope through the project lifecycle and can communicate changes, updates, and decisions to key stakeholders.
     

What you will need

  • Bachelor of Science, engineering or related Advanced degree.
  • 10 years of related work experience, 5 working in a highly regulated industry such as MedTech, FinTech, Pharmaceuticals.

Preferred: 

  • PMP or PgMP or equivalent preferred B.A. or B.S. from accredited university
  • 10+ years of project management experience
