Sr Production Planner - Military Veterans

As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will contribute to optimizing our manufacturing processes. You will be accountable for ensuring our products are produced efficiently and delivered to customers with precision and punctuality. By leveraging your thoughtful skills and process expertise, you'll orchestrate production schedules, monitor inventory, and streamline resource allocation to meet customer demands and improve operational efficiency. An opportunity is available at Honeywell Aerospace Minneapolis for an ambitious Production Planning Professional. You will report to the Product Line Materials Manager with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.

You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network production strategy delivers on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the supply and materials planning leaders to create and execute your site Production plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at the site level to approve the site production plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Functional & Business leadership in the Supply Review Meetings.

The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals. Using Six Sigma techniques in a Lean environment, you'll be driving continuous improvement activities and achieving superior performance across KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Demand Supply Alignment

Management of SAP Production orders

Create Constrained MPS - Master Production Schedule for the site/network

Create consensus production plan

Actively resolving issues with demand, capacity constraints and material availability

Collaborate with Supply & Material planners to resolve issues

Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/Product Lifecycle

Supports Inventory/Materials Planner in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material master data

Review of the Capacity and Constrained Supply plans in the SIOP cycle

Stand in for the Manager in all SIOP meetings where required

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for this position

is $80,800 - $101,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a

general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,

including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,

the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as

market and business considerations

You Must Have:

A high school diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of planning experience

Demonstrable experience in SAP

Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills
