WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:

The American Red Cross is searching for a self-motivated Business Analyst to support the Salesforce Business Application for our Biomedical Services modernization efforts.  The position sits within the Biomed Business Systems Integration (BSI) team with support from our internal IT teams.  The Business Analyst has the responsibility to work with various Lines of Business in Biomedical Services to identify, prioritize and document critical digital business requirements in alignment with the strategic roadmap of the organization.  The individual will report to the Biomedical Salesforce Platform Director.

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours. 

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

•    Support the Salesforce Platform Director

•    Lead business process owners and project SMEs in the development of business requirements, process flows, use case development, impact assessments and market analysis. 

•    Works with Product owner on backlog prioritization activities for production issues and enhancement request.  

•    Supports business process owners in enhancing current business process, based on technology improvements

•    Works with process owners to evaluate and provide feedback on solutions proposed by IT for assigned product(s)

•    Responsible for the development of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plans, which includes the development of functional UAT scripts.  May support regression testing activities. 

•    Lead and support the application release management activities. 

•    Must be comfortable with assisting the organization in the transition from waterfall to agile methodologies.

Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.  The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):

•    3-5+ years of experience with Salesforce administration and configuration skills, preferably with the Sales Cloud solution required.

•    Minimum 7 years overall experience required.

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information systems or related. 

•    Sales process experience, in Salesforce preferable

•    Ability to operate autonomously and be resourceful in responding to business needs 

•    Ability to handle interpersonal relationships efficiently, professionally, and empathetically.

•    Ability to communicate effectively with business SME and executive stakeholders

•    Proficient with agile methodology and agile tools, Jira, Trello, etc. as well as proven application release management capabilities.

•    Proven experience in Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing experience; documenting requirements, journey mapping, use case development, user story definition.  

•    Experience in leading the development of a UAT approach, which includes writing test scripts and facilitating the execution of UAT 

•    A driven life-long learner and natural problem solver with a high-growth mindset.

PAY INFORMATION: 

The starting annual salary range for this position is $110K - $130K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.BENEFITS FOR YOU:
