Academic Program Management Associate - Hospital Dentistry Institute - Military Veterans

Join us as an Academic Program Management Associate at the Hospital Dentistry Institute ! In this role, you'll coordinate residency schedules, manage applicant processes, and serve as the main point of contact for residents. • Residency Program Support:

o Maintain PASS application system and screen applicants.

o Coordinate applicant communications.

o Organize interview, travel, and housing for applicants.

o Coordinate with Residency Program Director for writing, updating residency brochure.

o Assist with certification exams and maintain resident certification database.

o Plan and coordinate graduation banquet, welcome event, and orientation.

o Develop resident schedules and manage rotations.

o Assist with CODA accreditation and program reports.

o Monitor procurement card expenditures.

• DEO Support:

o Provide executive support to DEO, manage calendar and appointments.

o Handle inquiries and arrange meetings for DEO.

o Screen and route mail, manage administrative activities.

o Oversee faculty credentialing and organize visits for prospective faculty.

o Resolve patient documentation issues in EPIC/axiUm.

o Coordinate Donald B. Osbon lecture and financials.

Academic or Clinical Program Management Associate - PCC1

College of Dentistry - Hospital Dentistry (Iowa City, IA)

Salary: $48,964 to commensurate (Pay Grade: 3A)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

May require occasional overtime.

REQUIRES :

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, or equivalent degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and calendaring software (i.e., Microsoft Office or Google).

HIGHLY Desirable :

• Considerable (5+ years) administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

• Experience supporting medical/dental Residency program.

• Excellent time management techniques, demonstrating the ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities.

• Experience maintaining confidential information.

• Transcription experience.

Desirable :

• Experience with electronic healthcare care record software (Epic/axiUm)

• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

• Extensive Event Planning Experience.
