Job Description:
- Reviews and manipulates data from source systems to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
- Designs and implements data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data within our CRM.
- Maintains data confidentiality and integrity to protect confidential alumni, donor, and institutional data in accordance with federal, state, and University guidelines.
- Creates and maintains documentation for internal process support.
- Develops and enforces rules to ensure data meets quality standards.
- Works closely with various business groups to improve data collection, processing, and sharing.
- Plans and executes requirements analysis, translating requirements into a scope document and developing data deliverables based on the design.
- Seeks opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions and with an eye towards broadly diversifying the advancement profession.
- With moderate direction from others, analyzes the users' requirements and solves routine database problems that ensures users and related applications can access necessary data sets.
- Defines and interprets existing data and populates the database with new data from external sources. Plans own resources such as documentation on data models, data dictionaries, physical database configuration, and daily database maintenance functions.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Major in computer science, statistics, business, or similar subject.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of professional work experience in data analysis, records management, or similar field.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development, including the University's donor relationship management system and the Microsoft Office Suite.Â
- Proficient at working with data and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient working with Salesforce CRM.Â

Working Conditions
- This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in-office presence.
- Standard office environment.
- Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
- This position is located in Hyde Park at 5235 South Harper Court.
