You are a natural leader and change advocate who is looking to develop and grow the Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Aftermarket Field Service business and resources through active collaboration with the international service centers. The Aftermarket Field Service Manager is responsible for managing the overall quotation, selection, preparation, coordination, scheduling, and training of a team of highly skilled field service personnel with an emphasis on enhancing the quality of services that are being provided to the customers.
The salary for the Field Service Manager is $6,116.80 paid every 2 weeks (approximately $159,036.80 annually). This position requires physically reporting to work at 3037 Industrial Parkway Santa Maria, CA as required by normal department work hours. A relocation package to Santa Maria, CA is available. What you will own:
- Develop methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery with a Customer-Focused mentality and ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved
- General management of Field Service Staff (staff is mostly remote).
- Utilize support, engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed.
- Maintain and leverage relationships with the international service centers and customers.

- Field Service Scheduling
- Commercial negotiations
- Customer Satisfaction
- Responsible for hiring and establishing training schedule of Field Service personnel (local and regional)
- You will handle all aspects of field service.
- You will be the primary point of communication and negotiation with our customers or service centers
- You will learn the Field Service software (Enovia, SAP, Innosoft, etc.)
- You will learn about Turboexpanders
- Responsiveness to customer requests
- Successful customer negotiations

- Timely invoicing and collection for completed services
- Maintenance of records.
- Execution of data driven business decisions.
- Coordination of annual meeting/training of staff
What you already know:
- BS/BA degree in engineering or business preferred
- 5+ years of management experience
- Experience with commercial negotiations
- Excellence in interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, self-starter, positive make-happen attitude, handles multiple tasks, team player
- Ability to learn and understand a technical product.
- Ability to complete DOT drug testing
- Occasional travel, domestic or international

This role reports to the Aftermarket Department Manager, and you will lead the efforts of a team of internal service technicians and outside contractors to support customer service needs. Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California. We manufacture a wide range of Turbo Expanders and equipment that support sustainable resources.
