Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer in El Paso, TX.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do:
Position Overview: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Supply Chain Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the plant supply chain project portfolio, managing shared resources across multiple projects and functions. Accountable for the oversight of the cross functional activities to assure execution of SCM, Cost-out and new product introduction (NPI) projects.
Supply Chain Management
- Execute supply chain projects with varying levels of complexity by defining project scope, resources, timeline, and goals and obtaining appropriate level of sponsorship.
- Manage and Lead Different Supply Chain projects, like New Product Introduction, Product Line Transfers, Engineering Changes, Cost Saving Initiatives, Continuous Improvement, Resourcing and Capacity Improvements.
Project Management
- Drive project execution through planning, resource management, scope management, tracking, and identifying risks, issues & opportunities using Eaton Standard Process stage gate methodology and other project management methodologies.
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Develop and Maintain Project Timing Plan and Action Item Tracker.
Team Collaboration
- Works with multifunctional project team members, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute projects and programs as per defined expectations.
- Coordinate communication across projects. Manage risk and issues and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope.
- Interact with other Eaton sites and suppliers to develop and improve projects.
Qualifications:
Education and Minimum Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain or engineering
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
