Overview
Cotiviti's Opportunity Intelligence Team delivers data-driven, actionable insights across the enterprise to accelerate growth opportunities, differentiate Cotiviti's value proposition, and improve customer satisfaction. This Team leverages leading class technology to develop highly scalable analytic products and services to help inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities. Opportunity Intelligence partners with Go To Market, Client Services, Operations, Product, Finance and other functions to identify opportunities to embed analytics into workflows and the customer value journey. The Data Product Manager drives the discovery, design/development, and implementation of highly scalable analytic products (dashboards, models, automated reports, etc.). This role owns the voice of the customer and partners with data engineers, BI developers, and data analysts/scientists on cross-functional, agile teams to develop and launch data products. The Data Product Manager is passionate about harnessing the power of data to inform decision-making and guiding the organization upward on the analytic maturity curve.
Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise stakeholders to identify opportunities to integrate data/insights into high-value workflows
- Define analytic use cases and product ideas, validate customer fit, and design early prototypes to inform product development
- Own the voice of the customer and collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data analysts/scientists to design and develop highly scalable analytic products
- Drive analytic product marketing, launch, and feedback processes; proactively engage with customers and implement best practices to maximize product adoption and utilization
- Develop high-level analyses and business cases to support strategic product planning initiatives
- Identify opportunities to productize high-value analytic services to achieve greater scale and value creation
- Contribute to the Opportunity Intelligence product roadmap and strategic planning processes
- Conduct adhoc analyses to support important client and internal deliverables
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance in Health Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field
- 6 years experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, technology, product development, or other relevant role
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare claims data; knowledge of payment integrity and/or provider revenue cycle preferred
- Experience working with cross-functional, matrixed product teams in an agile environment; agile or other product management certifications a plus
- Experience designing, developing, and/or marketing technology products; analytic product development experience a plus
- Experience defining customer workflows and user stories; User Interface / User Experience design skills a plus
- Experience conducting data analysis using Business Intelligence applications such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Looker, Domo, etc.; knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other advanced analytic techniques a plus but not required
- Highly proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and JIRA to support product development processes
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area
- Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
