Business Intelligence Developer - Military Veterans

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Altec is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Business Intelligence Developer to partner with business teams across the enterprise. This role combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills to deliver data-driven solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify information needs, develop KPIs, and implement data-driven solutions for critical business challenges
• Design and develop analytics solutions using enterprise BI platforms (Qlik, PowerBI, Salesforce CRM Analytics)
• Support the implementation and adoption of data analytics tools and applications across the organization
• Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure and existing applications, including daily operational support
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and provide user support to Altec associates
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in BI platforms (Qlik preferred; PowerBI or Salesforce CRM Analytics experience valuable)
• Minimum 2 years experience with SQL or equivalent query languages
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
• Alternative: Exceptional candidates with 6+ years relevant work experience will be considered
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
