Manufacturer in Albuquerque is seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and at least 2 years of industry experience. The Engineer should be open to 50% travel to national and international customer sites, and have experience with Electronics manufacturing. Knowledge of data analysis and process flows used in manufacturing engineering is desired. This is a customer facing role so good communication skills are essential. responsibilities:
- Assist with sensor installation at customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction with the product
- Work with our research & development and manufacturing teams to ensure that all devices satisfy the end user requirements.
- Communicate critical feedback to the team for the necessary product improvements based on field test results.
- Conduct statistical analysis of data to provide technical recommendations on device setting for respective customers.
- Conduct experiments using product prototypes with the objective of identifying design flaws
- Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation and user manuals
Requirements:
- Flexibility to travel on short notice, about 50%
- B.S. in Engineering or similar required
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Familiarity electronic calibration procedures and troubleshooting
- Experience with gauge study test methods, and analysis of reliability data
- Must either have DoD Secret Clearance, or meet the requirements to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
