Job Description: Schedule and train part-time staff. Plan and execute testing activities in support of CET instructional programs. Reserve computer lab and update testing availability schedule. Ensure compliance with all testing administration procedures, including student identification and test security. Inventory and orders testing supplies. Assist with examinee check-in, explaining the testing process, monitoring testing, and maintaining a secure testing environment. Promptly report academic dishonesty and other student code of conduct violations to the director. Communicates with Harford Community College IT department and Pearson Vue to report and resolve technical issues. Report the results of testing to supervisors and testing companies. Perform specific job tasks/functions unique to position as assigned by supervisor. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. Required Education: Associate's degree Required Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience proctoring and or test administration Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors at all levels. Ability to work with, within, and promote a diverse workforce and environment. Knowledge of relevant computer software applications. Ability to coordinate the activities of several ongoing projects. Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and act on oral and written instructions in English. Ability to maintain customer service and satisfaction as it relates to assigned unit or area of expertise. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately.
