You will be a Program Planner for our Integrated Program Planning team, which is responsible for driving program execution through effective relationship building and analyzing complex data to support the preparation and maintenance of program schedules and plans.



What You Will Be Doing

As a Program Planner, you will be responsible for supporting Senior Integrated Program Planners in developing and maintaining comprehensive program plans and schedules. You will work closely with our team to analyze complex data and build strong relationships to drive program execution.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Support the preparation, execution, and maintenance of new or existing planning products
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) leveraging the Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS)
• Identify Critical/Driving Paths, perform probabilistic/deterministic risk analysis, and develop corrective actions
• Support proposal submittal and execution schedule development to meet established plans and parameters
• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Earned Value Management System through cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experiences with networked schedules
  • Experiences delivering briefings to team members and project teams
  • Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management Techniques (e.g. Earned Value Management)
  • Bachelor’s degree
    Desired Skills:
  • 3 years or more of experience in planning or program management related discipline
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD clearance
  • Exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
  • Critical Path Scheduling methodology
  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
  • Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development
  • Proposal knowledge
  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA
  • Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
  • Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and build strong relationships
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
