Job Summary
Auburn University Office of Advancement Marketing is seeking a student employee to provide graphic design support to the creative services team. The student employee will work at the direction of the office's Advancement Marketing leadership.
The job requires a highly creative and detail- oriented individual who is committed to maintaining the integrity of the Auburn Brand. This job will include some on-campus work. Hours are flexible based on the schedules of the creative services team needs.

Essential Functions
- Provide assistance with design projects for Auburn University as well as various campus partners and will also be expected to contribute ideas to brainstorms and future projects. Materials produced will reflect Auburn's strategic messaging and brand positioning.
- Provide graphic design support for design projects
- Create print pieces that adhere to brand standards
- Create engaging web graphics and email graphics in support of current events and initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Auburn University
Expectations:
- Strong skills in Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Interest in Communications and Marketing
- Strong visual communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- The ability to collaborate and work with a team
- The ability to act and speak with discretion, and to be trusted to handle sensitive materials and documents
- Dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to work with a fast-paced environment

Welcome to Auburn University!
Auburn University was established in 1856 as the East Alabama Male College, 20 years after the city of Auburn's founding. In 1872, under the Morrill Act, the school became the first land-grant college in the South and was renamed the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama. In 1899 the name again was changed, to the Alabama Polytechnic Institute. Finally, in 1960 the name of the school was changed to Auburn University, a title more in keeping with its location, and expressing the varied academic programs and larger curriculum of a major university.
Today, Auburn is one of the few universities to carry the torch as a land, sea and space grant university. Our fall 2014 semester enrollment was 25,912. Our students can choose from more than 140 degree options in 13 schools and colleges at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.
