Job Summary:
HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking to recruit a General Surgery focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) for employment to a busy General Surgery group based in the north Houston suburb community of North Cypress.Qualified Candidates:
- Acute care APP training and experience with general surgery is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license.
- Ability to communicate general surgery plans with primary team.
- Maintenance of acute care certification.
- This is an employment opportunity with HCA Houston Healthcare - offering a competitive salary.

- No nights or weekends required.
- Hours are roughly 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, but some days may start earlier, or end later.
- Duties include rounding on inpatient general surgery patients as a consult service, evaluating patients before and after procedures.
- Two days of clinic per week.
- Operating Room participation welcomed but not required.
