Assistant Project Manager – Paint Division

Seeking a skilled APM to oversee and coordinate painting projects for our commercial and some residential clients. As the APM, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the painting project from start to finish, including organizing, planning, scheduling, budgeting & procurement.

· $65000 to $75000 yearly wage

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Plans: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope of work, schedule, budget, and resources required for successful project execution.

· Client Communication: Limited client communication in a supporting role for PM and Superintendent. Providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

· Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project delivery.

· Budget Management: Monitor project budgets closely, reviewing expenses and tracking production, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

· Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project by conducting regular inspections, addressing any quality issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

· Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including painters, subcontractors, and other personnel, to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.

· Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols & procedures, as Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

· Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise during the project, employing effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in project management, specifically in painting or general construction, is a MUST!

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Proficiency in project management software and tools. Bluebeam, Planswift, Buildertrend, Procore and Microsoft office suite.

· Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
