Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, RM– Process & PerformanceThe Supply Chain Analyst 2, Raw Material Process and Performance is a key member within the Supply Chain Planning organization. This position is responsible for enhancing raw material supply planning processes and ensuring raw materials availability for production. The role collaborates with the IT, Continuous Improvement, Business Intelligence and Finished Goods Planning team to provide solutions and execute tasks, focusing on process improvement, KPI monitoring, and cost management.
Essential Functions
- Raw Materials Supply Planning & Network Management
- Design and enhance inventory policy strategy aimed at right-sizing inventory and streamlining purchasing signals.
- Create purchase cost optimization models for tiered pricing suppliers.
- Develop infrastructure and guidelines for raw materials vendor managed inventory (VMI) programs, including Min/Max levels.
- Establish and socialize supplier “Total Cost of Ownership” measurement and incorporate it into supplier selection and sourcing processes.
- Formalize an artwork transition management process, including a regularly published scrap avoidance metric.
- Process Improvement and Automation
- Support efforts for enhancing raw material supply planning by leveraging AI applications as well as leading associated change management with operational teams.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to optimize existing planning systems and facilitate the integration of new planning systems.
- Develop and enhance processes for the purchasing team with the intent of automation, systematization, and alignment with other departments.
- Gather and develop requirements for process implementation and IT initiatives.
- Possess a strong understanding of systems, preferably with a background in Oracle. Understanding technology and IT limitations is critical for managing improvement projects
- Ability to lead technology integration with suppliers’ supply chains.
- Procure-to-Pay Enhancement
- In partnership with IT and CI teams, establish and implement supplier collaboration platforms across Niagara supplier base to streamline PO communication and exception management.
- Develop a holistic approach for supplier performance measurement and management across all raw material categories.
- Travels approximately 10%
