Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and receive verbal instructions regarding work to be done.
• Must be able to build, test, troubleshoot and operate a variety of complex mechanical components
• Wire per electrical schematic, ladder diagram and ensure operation of equipment.
• Download programs into PLC's, HMI's, VFD's, Servo Drives, etc.
• Troubleshoot electric, pneumatics, and mechanical issues
• Check fit and finish to ensure quality standards
• Assembly of hydraulic valves, hose, and tubing to the schematic
• Proficient in using micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators and laser levels
• Function effectively within a team environment
• Follow safety requirements, policies and report unsafe conditions

• 3+ more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Basic computer skills including ERP transactional experience

• Trade or Technical School Preferred
• Food machinery experience
• Background in any other manufacturing discipline
