Maintenance Mechanic - Military Veterans

America's leading rice manufacturer has recently hired veterans and is looking to expand their team with our skillset across their maintenance team. If you've eaten Mahatma, Minute Rice, or Success Rice, you've eaten from this company's facility. They are looking for Maintenance Techs with Mechanical skill set in their Memphis Tennessee location.

As a Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly-automated food (rice) manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility is in troubleshooting/resolving immediate issues, line/factory continuous operations, removal and installation or various mechanical and electrical equipment/components, as well as performing preventive and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.

The client is working towards building a bigger bench on the maintenance team, so they can focus on preventative maintenance, and you'll be getting the opportunity to put your mark on that process.

Shift: 12 hours; 36 hours first week, 44 the next. Baked in 4 hours of time and a half, plus one three day weekend per pay period. Shift runs either 4am - 4pm or 4pm - 4am. The candidate must be open to working night shift first.

This client is calling all mechanical skillsets with a curious mind. The hiring official is looking for strong mechanical skillsets, but a desire to learn across the board. The hiring official understands that most techs come with a stronger technical ability in one area, he wants someone who wants to be a switch hitter and is willing to train them.

Base salary, $65K - $80K plus overtime, an $8K bonus sign on, $4K relocation assistance, great benefits, and a 401k.

The client will pay for a site visit for your assessment. They are looking for techs want to grow and settle down in the lower cost living area of Memphis.
