Role:

We are looking for a Shop Mechanic Helper to work in our Delanco, NJ location. This is an entry level, apprentice role, where candidates who are mechanically inclined and have some prior experience in a similar manufacturing role. While in this role, the helper will learn the basics of the full shop mechanic position.

To succeed you will need:

• Math Skills - Basic math knowledge
• Ability to identify voltage levels of electrical equipment and determine the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) for that voltage while overseeing others.
• Able to draw a one-line diagram of the PBR electrical system
• Mobile equipment certified. Able to safely and effectively operate a forklift, man basket and lull.
• Reading Skills - Basic reading comprehension
• Problem solving mindset
• Troubleshooting Skills - Basic working knowledge, skills and ability to read schematics, blueprints, logic diagrams, and properly use electrical test equipment
• Hand tools & Portable Power Tools - Proficient working knowledge, smills and abilities required to properly identify and safely and effectively use and maintain hand tools ,portable power tools on a routine basis while performing maintenance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
