Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:

o Directly supervise the AR/Chargeback team (2 staff) and AP team (2 staff).
o Serve as a backup for staff during vacations and absences.

• Accounts Management:

o Ensure accuracy of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) subledgers, including customer and vendor accounts.

• Financial Oversight:

o Manage month-end and year-end accounting procedures, including preparing and entering journal entries for AR, AP, and General Ledger systems.

• Credit Management:

o Administer customer credit approvals in coordination with the Controller, CFO, and, when necessary, insurance underwriters.
• Process Improvement:
o Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and efficiency enhancements in AP and AR processes.
• Audit Support:
o Assist with external audits, including CPA and bank audits.

Position Requirements:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
o CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience:
o 5-10 years of accounting management experience, with a strong focus on AP/AR functions in a fully integrated system environment.
o Previous supervisory experience is required.
o Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of GAAP, process controls, and other relevant accounting standards.
o Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
