Packaging and Quality Inspector - Military Veterans

Position: Packaging and Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and bilingual (preferred) candidate to join our client's dynamic production team. This role offers the opportunity to ensure high-quality standards and safe operations while contributing to the delivery of exceptional products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the packaging process during production and ensure labeling accuracy.
Transport boxes to the inspection station, inspect parts for visual defects, and verify box quantities.
Print and place labels, tape and close boxes, and transport finished boxes to the designated WIP station for warehouse delivery.
Assemble boxes, print production labels, and manage the inspection and packing process.
Perform quality inspections using gage tools and ensure compliance with visual attribute requirements.
Support floor operations as a back-up for IPQ Inspectors (In-Process Quality) and Dedicated Inspector/Packers.
Adhere to safety, quality, and HR procedures, reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.

Requirements:
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.

Skills:
Proficiency in computer systems for labeling and weighing materials.
Understanding of Visual Attribute requirements and gage inspection processes.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Languages: Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Shifts and Pay:
1st Shift: $13.00/hour, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: $14.00/hour, 3:30 PM to 12:00 Midnight
3rd Shift: $15.00/hour, 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM
