Job Overview:
The Field Service Engineer will a ssist with liquid and gas equipment installation, troubleshooting, liquid /gas canister change s and facilitate prompt return of empty cylinders and canisters . Training will be provided to help the candidate increase competency and progress in the company . Th e successful candidate will provide professional quality of work and support to Entegris Customers .
Primary Responsibilities:
- Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. On duty phone needed and standby for 24 hours on call
- Maintains records of performance reports.
- Assists in the development of service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of product.
- Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment.
- Attend all personal and technical training to maintain a professional level of engineering expertise .
Education/Experience:
- Two year technical school degree in engineering, s cience or chemistry field requ ired and a four year College Degree is a positive.
- 3 + Experience in field support/service of similar experience with a capital equipment company required . CVD/CMP/WET mo dule EE&PE experience is prefer r ed.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer inter acting skills

- Travelling is necessary within Japan and Overseas
